ATTN people with powers to post to -announce:

Please learn how to Internet.

The announcements lists is for announcements of upcoming events and
important messages.

It is not for discussions. These happen on the -discuss list.

There are two lists because some people will not want to recieve all the
discussions but are still happy to be subscribed for event announcements
and *important* messages.

*Important* messages may be missed if someone decides to stop looking at
the emails on the -announce list because you've posted a whole load of
non-announcement emails to it.

If this is too difficult for you, then you probably shouldn't be using a
computer.

It is embarassing for the hackerspace that I have to write this email,
and this is not the first time I have had to explain this either.

If members of the space (especially directors) cannot respect the wishes
of other members to only recieve certain email and cannot make the
effort to ensure they are posting to the right list, then that is not
the sort of space I want to be a part of.
