My Tyan S3992 servers use ~7W in their IPMI dormant state: Only problem
is the remote console is a bit fussy about which version of Java I use.
The servers do keep my garage warm when they're running though :-)
I'm using them to help Steffen Moeller, who you met in Stonehaven, find
ligand binding sites just now using his Boinc app. Check my stats:
