[57north-discuss] EEG headset workshop

Hey all

So I have this headset that outputs serial data about brainwaves. It might
make a fun workshop - see below.

**Mind-control challenge** (any better names?)

"Show off your mind control skills whilst learning about consumer EEG
headset tech. Compare scores with others to win the 57n Mindlypics trophy"

This is still in development - we have till the end of the month
to confirm. I can just use the RF dongle with a mac on a screen, but would
like to interface with an AVR to make an IR blaster to control stuff/TV/a
camera shutter to take a shot of a face concentrating/meditating.

If the ATtiny is too pants for this, does anyone have a small arduino
compatible dev board I can use? It would need to be low power, run off 2x3v
CR2032 batts and fit on a headset.

If we involve a competition aspect, we would also need to make an awesome
trophy (from bits-box bits maybe?) Anyone arty interested in playing with
the glue-gun?
