[57north-discuss] Half-dead multi-function printer any use?

Hey guys,

I've a Brother MFC-425CN printer/copier/fax/scanner that has decided to
give up the ghost, and wondered if it would be of any use for parts or
maybe it could be fixed, potentially - though I know printers are cheap.

I happily had this working under linux in the past, and it has a network
port. Well, and can fax too, in theory... which was actually useful on
occasion!

It's currently stuck at some kind of 'unable to initialise' stage :/

Thoughts?
