It seems no one is ever sure how useful Facebook is, this doesn't give me
any reason to not try and cover that base. In fact most facebook user's
could do with learning more about privacy as you say, so seems quite a
relevant audience.
I have links with a few tech related fb pages in Aberdeen and cross post to
reach more of the Tech community who do engage with Facebook. I happily do
it because no one else seems to care about it, and its no problem for me.
But it does get grating to constantly be told fb is a waste of time to
promote events and whats the point.

Coolio, I may bring my laptop then, to save taking up someones time at
another event (i will likely break things myself). And I'll update social
media with your updates when you have done them.
