[57north-discuss] Diaspora

I remember hearing about Diaspora (open, decentralised, social network
thingy-ma-bob) a few years ago. Just wondering if anyone has had any
experience with it?

I was interested in the social media aggregation and as a route to possibly
move away from facebook (which is required as if my parents don't see that
I've been on FB chat in a few days I get hounded by calls!)
