In git 2.0 there was a new default and you need to add the push default to
the config to suppress an ugly error message any time you try to do
something.

git 1.7.9.5 possibly predates this, so you could miss out the [push] section
of the config.

> > # install missing git package sudo aptitude install git-email git

This was in the tutorial but you might have missed it.
