Hmmm.. some world-affirming Ideas I like:

1. Use it to print reprap parts for the parts I already have from the
failed Kickstarter and give that away to hobby group with tech support?
[pass on lulzbot's good will]

2. Ask newbies/free-timers to print cool/useful Thingierse designs for
giving away at charity shops like the British heart foundation charity shop
below our space. (would be good to get a filament sponsor on board here
too)
[motivation to field-test existing designs for a good cause]

3. Use the 3D camera to make custom pieces for a general hackerspace-themed
board game, maybe one sneaks in some safety aspects? maybe called
'Spaceland' or 'Don't be on fire' or something?
[Raises awareness of spaces and teaches safety]

BTW anyone coming in today: can you bring a good camera? - I forgot mine.
Street door is locked o/c so am in Archibolds Simpons having breakfast.
