[57north-discuss] Rack in Space

Sup,

Me and Carl constructed the rack tonight. The space is currently a bit
of a mess.

We're going in around 12 tomorrow to finish the job, including load
bearing bits, running the Ethernet properly with cable trays and
installing proper cable management into the rack.

Unless you plan on being of assistance for these things, I would not
recommend going to the space tomorrow. It will involve tearing the whole
place apart.

We will leave the space is a usable state before we leave tomorrow.

The Ethernet will die until Monday (Carl - is this the correct day?)
when Carl will be able to grab his punchdown tool and we can properly
wire up the patch panels.

If anyone else has a punchdown tool, bring it to the space tomorrow and
we can have Ethernet working before we leave.

Assembling the rack was necessary to make sure we have enough space for
Tuesday's meeting.

The old rack is up for grabs. If you would like the old rack, I
recommend being in the space tomorrow to disassemble it so you know how
to put it back together when you get it home and so that you can make
sure no nuts and bolts are lost.
