This is interesting. My professional institution, as you'd guessed from my moaning in IRC, is always banging on about outreach and equality.
I'm sure if we took the time to put an event, or a series of events together, and properly presented the idea to them they'd have funding available.
Plus, for CPD I'm supposed to be involved in STEM outreach, so I'm interested.
