Hackerspaces very much contain working prototypes and while we should
be (and finally are) documenting stuff better, it will always be
subject to change.

Rowan - setting up versatile access control is tricky but generally
you'd start simple and work up. Re how it works, don't forget to ask
people when in the space - you'll find stuff is easier to work if you
bug people for demos (a good hackerspace behaviour to encourage
anyway)
