[57north-discuss] Introduction

hello there, i just barged into your irc channel and started
braindumping, i should take a deep breath and explain myself a bit. i'm
'zool' there and 'ultrazool' on Twitter.

i'm a member of the Edinburgh hacklab, i spent some time hanging out
with the 57north folks at emfcamp and i really like everything you're
doing, and maybe i can help with one or two things not quite there. 

i'm a burned out old hacker doing time writing and reviewing code for
the civil service, but back in the day i used to do a lot of hanging out
in hackerspaces and running around talking to people. i helped bootstrap
OpenStreetmap and the Open Knowledge Foundation, proud of the former and
basically disowned the latter. i did free software stuff, community
wireless networks and conference organising, community currencies. I
went through the semantic web spin machine and only went mad the once or
twice.

You guys make me feel incredibly old and young again at the same time,
and i look forward to future opportunities to hang out together :)
