From the discussion about how to mount these LEDs, can I assume they're wire-ended?

You'll need a more substantial heatsink on each LED than you might initially imagine, as a 10W LED will easily get hot enough to melt its own solder and drop on the head of unsuspecting passers-by.

Just a thought...
