I’m not terribly good at video games nor an expert on game design, so most of my improvements have been technical:

* Rewrote the menu system
* Implemented a server-suggested plugin system and set of networking APIs for plugins to use
* Overhauled the rewards system for winners of community contests
* Wrote an HTTP client library
* Overhauled the updater system
* Implemented rotating menu backgrounds

Things like that. :)
