Hi all - my thoughts:

As a member and regular #57n user, I don't mind hackerdeenbot's automatic
?cah feature and find it has promoted fun and intrigue more often than it
causes genuine offence. O/c visitor mileage may vary and after conducting a
spot test with a random sample of girlfriend, one or more of the above was
seen as pretty offensive.

Clearly removing some of the more controversial keywords and labelling more
clear a satirical non-human is speaking will improve the situation if we
feel a visitors possible uninformed interpretation of auto-?cah might
outweigh the usefulness to regular users. I don't think we'd loose much
said fun/intrigue if we dialled it back the vocab slightly. Feel free to
correct me if I'm advocating censorship by mistake.

That said, we should avoid unilateral-like action upon shared space
things - it's not a thoughtful way to achieve change. Read Admiral
Hoppers(?) 'better to get forgiveness than permission' philosophy might be
needed in some closed-minded working environments I guess, but here (where
group participation is encouraged) it leaves a bad taste in the mouth. It's
too easy to blast an email out to the membership to gain group consensus
prior to action, especially when it involves another members project.

Cheers,
Ed (Nordin)
