The purpose of this Invitation to Tender is to invite tenders for the
operation of MAKE, Digital Fabrication Workshop. MAKE is the only open
access digital fabrication workshop (Fab Lab) in the North East and
only the second in Scotland, providing affordable access and training
to new digital manufacturing tools such as laser cutters, 3d scanners
and printers.


Aberdeen City Council are seeking an experienced organisation who can
deliver the following services (full specifications within ITT):
Strategic planning and operations of workshop, development of a
comprehensive learning programme,supporting new start-ups and
encouraging early adoption of digital fabrication into other sectors,
development of employibilty programmes, network building, partnership
working and development of digital fabrication soloutions for
communities.T
