[57north-discuss] Tools

I think the selection of tools we have in the space has some glaring
gaps (no decent screwdrivers, only one set of snips that can actually
cut anything), and there are a lot of things it would be nice to have
so I've been putting together a shopping list to try and improve
things.

At the moment the list is mostly things that I think we should have,
so will be skewed massively to the kinds of things I want to do in the
space. 

What else should be on our shopping list? 

Have I put anything on there you don't think we need?

Do you know of a better source for things?  For most things I just
picked from what was available at CPC - I've usually found tools from
there to be reasonable quality at a decent price.

Current total cost for the tools list is somewhere around £225 - that
should change as the list gets updated. 

As I said a couple of weeks ago: space funds are decidedly tight at
the moment, so we don't have any money spare to spend on this. I'm
hoping we can pull together enough money via pledges instead. I'll put
£40 in the kitty.
