Long shot, but does anybody have aspirations of kettle-hacking? I have a dead kettle, element is good but the electrical connection with the base is dodgy. Potential for temperature-control, ketttle-over-the-internet, non-wireless-kettle-with-googly-eyes, you could even heat up things other than water if you're really mad. Reply if you want it, otherwise it's getting a viking funeral.
