Makerspaces and You

Join Europe Direct Aberdeen and MAKE for an afternoon exploring Makerspaces, a shared work area where people build things collaboratively. Throughout the event you will be able to learn about Makerspaces in Aberdeen, Creative Europe funding and how this can benefit creatives, students and small businesses alike. There will talks from a variety of speakers including Jamie Cameron who has used MAKE to enhance his business. This will be followed by networking and the following optional workshops:

Laser Engraving at MAKE (Seventeen, BelmontStreet)
Tour and demonstration taster sessions (Central Library)

along, bring something to tinker with or just to chat to others.

We will be having a board meeting in the space at 18:30 this
evening. Anyone not on the board is still welcome to attend, and will

chairing) be welcome to participate if they want to. The only item on
the agenda at the moment is approving our accounts for submission to
companies house and HMRC.
