[57north-music] Norwegian Folk Saturday

Howdy Y'all!

Anyone keen for folk music, beer and arts at the music hall on Saturday?
The Northern Arc series of concerts is returning and they're pretty
worth going to!

Lau [1] are playing with some Norwegians, the Valkyrien Allstars, who
play the Hardanger fiddle, a Norwegian version of the fiddle! It's
a rather cool and very ornate instrument with 8/9 strings. Four of the
strings aren't played, the resonate with the vibration from the one
being played, it's a cool and unique sound in folk.

Before the show, there's an exhibition of visual arts
(collage/paint/photography/sculpture).

I'm keen to go along as so far, the Northern Arc events have been great
and I'd like to keep supporting them!
